While these are some of the more ridiculous recommendations for a more productive workplace, be careful not fall into the management trap of searching for the silver bullet of employee performance, engagement and happiness. Stay with the fundamentals by matching talents to task, setting expectations, developing employees and recognizing success. These are basic fundamentals of managing. Too often, managers read about managing, talk about managing and have meetings about management strategies. Try sticking to the fundamentals and just manage.
